AboutLauren O’Connor-Korb is an artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Lauren’s work and research was awarded the Wilson Center Graduate Research Award and the International Sculpture Center's 2019 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award. Using humor and skepticism as tools to interrogate the world around her, she creates objects that question their own inherent form and function. Her current work explores the role of the clown in surviving a devolving and unpredictable world.
